We use FDA-approved GLP-1 medications whenever appropriate as part of a broader wellness strategy—not as the only tool. These medications may support appetite regulation and weight management when used under medical supervision.
When an FDA-approved option is not clinically suitable, our providers may consider compounded GLP-1/GLP-1 receptor agonist formulations. These compounded versions are prepared by licensed §503A pharmacies but are not FDA-approved. Their safety, effectiveness, and equivalence to FDA-approved medications have not been established.
